About

My name is Aaron Thomas Kim. I’m in 11th grade. The type of art that inspires me is the type that has meaning outside of the box. I like art in any art form particularly art that is abstract. When I see a picture that is straight forward, I don’t like it. I don’t like pictures that are just about the subject that’s getting their picture taken. I like seeing pictures that focus’s on the background, or the sky. My target audiences are people who have the same interests as me. I aim for the younger generation. I like people who think when they look at a picture because the pictures I take, take some thought.

Hopefully what I gain from this class is an understanding of the art industry. I would want to become a graphic designer of some sort when I leave high school. I hope I can gain as much possible from this class. I would use photoshop skills after I leave high school. I would tell the differences between contrasts of lightings and backgrounds when I leave high school.

It is important to understand how to read and take photographs in today’s society because our society is a visual society. We need to see to believe. We use photographs to prove statements, to physically show and explain art in it’s simpliest form.
